CONDITIONS OF SERVICE


Please read these conditions prior to your departure (some points carry over from above).

Unless otherwise agreed, the following general terms and conditions apply between Vertigo Adventures (a division of Vertigo Group) and yourself, from hence referred to as the client

  1. Transport is not always included. Please feel free to discuss your transport needs - additional fees may apply
  2. Payment is acknowledged as accepting Vertigo Industries’ Indemnity (included in your receipt).
  3. Vertigo Adventures and Group carries comprehensive Public Liability Insurance, however it remains the client's responsibility to arrange their own appropriate medical insurance. 
  4. Unless otherwise negotiated, rest days or time spent doing other activities are standard rate
  5. It is assumed that each member undertakes a moral obligation to ensure safety of others and the group. 
  6. Any equipment which is lost or rendered unserviceable through negligence of the client will be replaced at the client’s expense. 
  7. Unless otherwise agreed, standard “mountain food” will be served when in the wilderness.
  8. Unless previously arranged, porters are not included and as such clients are expected to carry their own rucksacks and share of communal equipment.

Indemnity and WAIVER

By accepting Vertigo Adventures' Terms and Condition I acknowledge on behalf of myself and those in my group that the adventure sports, instruction  and tours provided by Vertigo Adventures (and affiliates) carry inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, equipment failure, and varying weather conditions.

In consideration of being allowed to participate in rock climbing activities provided by Vertigo Adventures, I agree to assume all risks associated with the activity. I/we understand and acknowledge the importance of following all safety guidelines and instructions provided by the staff of or contractors working on behalf of Vertigo Adventures.

I hereby release Vertigo Adventures, its employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of any damage, loss, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me while participating in rock climbing activities.

I certify that I (and my group) am physically fit and capable of participating in the activity purchased, and I agree to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions or concerns, including requesting separate waiver for each member of our group who would prefer their own. I further understand that this agreement is a binding legal document and I have read and fully understand its terms. I voluntarily and willingly agree to be bound by this indemnity agreement.
